- Christ is certainly coming: (22:20-21): The Bible along with this prophecy closes with a final reminder and a benediction. “He who testifies to these things says, yes I am coming soon, Amen. Come Lord Jesus” (22:20). Since His coming is imminent, the believers would respond “Amen, come Lord Jesus.” Those who humble themselves and accept the Lord Jesus will find Him gracious and will be saved from Hell. Therefore believers must plunge into the evangelistic work, inviting lost sinners trust Christ and drink the water of life. Indeed, when the church lives in expectancy of Christ’s return, such an attitude provokes missionary and evangelism. A true understanding of Bible prophecy should both motivate us to obey God’s Word and to share God’s invitation with a lost world. So Let’s all join with the Apostle John in the Bible’s last prayer: “Even so, come, Lord Jesus!” Are you ready?
